Sweetened Pineapple rings

Sweetened pineapple rings consist of slices of pineapple that have been candied. They are very sweet with a distinct pineapple flavour and a lovely chewy texture. Although they contain vitamin C, they are sweetened therefore have a higher sugar content than naturally dried pineapple. They are nice to add to a candied mix in baking or add to cereals in moderation.
